Breakly Bundles terms of service

These terms apply when a merchant installs and uses Breakly Bundles ("Breakly Bundles", "we", "us"), a Shopify app that adds bundles to Shopify stores. By installing Breakly Bundles you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

The service#

Breakly Bundles shows bought-together sets and box builders on your online store and applies their prices with an automatic Shopify discount in the cart and at checkout, and it creates fixed bundles as Shopify bundle products. It needs a Shopify store with the Online Store channel and a theme that supports app blocks; fixed bundles also need a store that Shopify lets sell bundles. We can change, add or remove features; when a change removes something you use, we tell you in the app first.

Plans and billing#

Shopify bills Breakly Bundles' plans on your Shopify invoice. The plans and what they include are on the Plan page in the app.
A plan counts the orders that included a Breakly bundle in a month. Going over a plan never switches your bundles off. If a month went over, editing and creating bundles is paused the next month until you move to a bigger plan or the month ends; you can still pause or delete bundles.
You can change plans in the app or stop paying by uninstalling Breakly Bundles. Charges and refunds follow Shopify's billing terms.

Your responsibilities#

You choose your bundles, their products, prices, gifts and texts, and you make sure they follow the laws that apply to your store, such as rules on promotions and price reductions.
Check new bundles with a test order before you rely on them.
Don't use Breakly Bundles to break the law, to harm shoppers or to interfere with Shopify or with Breakly Bundles' servers.

How we process your store's data#

You control the personal data of your customers. Breakly Bundles processes it on your behalf, only to provide the app and only as your settings in the app direct.

What and why: the data and the purposes are listed in the privacy policy. Breakly Bundles doesn't store shoppers' names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses.
Confidentiality: only the people who run Breakly Bundles can access the data, and only to operate and support the app.
Security: data is encrypted in transit with TLS, and the database and its backups are stored on an encrypted volume. Access to the servers is limited to the people who run Breakly Bundles.
Subprocessors: Shopify and our hosting provider. We tell you in the app before we add another.
Requests: Breakly Bundles answers the customer data and erasure requests Shopify sends it, and we help you with other requests about data Breakly Bundles holds.
Incidents: if we learn of a breach that affects your store's data, we tell you without undue delay.
Deletion: when you uninstall, Breakly Bundles deletes your store's data after Shopify's store erasure request, about 48 hours later. Backups that contain it are overwritten within 14 days.

Availability and support#

We work to keep Breakly Bundles running, but we don't guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. Support is by email at the address below.

Liability#

Breakly Bundles is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost sales, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Breakly Bundles in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Ending#

You can stop using Breakly Bundles at any time by uninstalling it. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it.
